Harry and the Potters show!
Forgive me my dorkiness, but I feel compelled to remind you all that Harry and the Potters (along with Draco and the Malfoys and Jason Anderson and the Best) will be playing a $10 show at the Brattle Theatre this Saturday at noon. For those who do not know, Harry and the Potters are an energetic local "wizard rock" duo who dress up as, well, Harry Potter and write songs about, erm...Harry Potter. I recently received a HatP mixtape and believe you me, no one could ever pen as equally heartbreaking an ode to Cho Chang as Harry and the Potters.
But back to the matter at hand, I guarantee you that the show is going to be a blast, so any and all who are interested should feel free to come. And yes, appropriate costume is highly encouraged.

I'll second the Harry and the Potters love. I saw them for free at last year's Cambridge Day festivities, and they were fun as hell. They may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they were able to delight this cynical old grump.

Hmmm...not sure that Cho Chang deserves a ballad per se, but I'm very on board with the band otherwise. =)
