Things worthy of note
So after reading a bunch of gushing reviews about that new Beatles compilation, Love, I decided to pick it up just on a whim, just sort of expecting a middle-of-the-road tribute album. On the contrary, it's actually a surprisingly awesome remix album of sorts. But not "remix" in the sense of adding "uhn-tis-uhn-tis" drum beats
and basslines and vocoders, of course, more in the sense that it's one big medley of mashups; if someone told me that "Octopus's Garden" and "Good Night," two pretty blah Ringo songs (forgive me, hardcore Beatles fans of the world), ended up scrambled together halfway through the album, I'd probably choke, but George Martin miraculously makes it sound pretty awesome.
P.S. Last night I saw Clueless for the first time (which quite completed my adolescent education) and noticed not one, not two, but three cracks about Radiohead being whiny. What? Cher Horowitz, if real life had Top 8's like MySpace did, you would forever be my #9.

...If "Clueless" featured a Radiohead slag a minute, it would still be one of my top five movies of all time.
I have to give props to any high school students who know who Oscar Wilde IS, never mind who can use details about his life to gossip about fellow students. Seriously? Best. Movie. Ever.

I will echo Jess's sentiments-and keep in mind that Radiohead at the time of Clueless only had one good record in them.
And if anyone tries to tell me that Pablo Honey is anything other than a guilty pleasure record, I will totally fight them.

Well, it's a little late in the comments game to throw down the gauntlet, but I'd fight you on that.
En garde!
