U.K. artist Lily Allen is postponing her upcoming series of West Coast dates. U.S. authorities revoked her work visa earlier this month when she was entering the country. The reinstatement process has proven lengthier than anticipated, thus preventing her tour from launching on September 6th in San Diego, CA.

...Am I the only person who never realized that singers from other countries needed work visas to come to the U.S.?  This is opening up an absurd world for me, as I just fleetingly thought of ICP at a gov't office, in full clown makeup, applying (successfully?) for a 'work visa.'

Ahem.  Anyway, so if you had tickets to a Lily Allen show (or were even looking forward to seeing her on the VMAs), be on the lookout for rescheduled dates.
