Just saw this movie and got nuked in the head with the heaviness of it.  Very good sci-fi movie directed by Danny Boyle that, if you suspend belief, you'll roll with the nearly two hours of film.  The general plot has eight crew members flying off into space to revive a dying and unforgiving sun, which sounds like it might or might not be accomplished with difficulty.  Although the movie is not strong on the character development (surprise), the acting from the recognizable faces of the cast made it a worthy movie to see when you're up for many pleasantly arresting visuals and thrilling situations.  After a blazing ending, I walked out of the theatre and stared glazedly at my coffee that I picked up on the way home... not that I needed it.
