Lawrence, MA - Labels Are For Jars (LAFJ) today announced the release of a limited edition “rock star” shirt, inspired by local music sensation Bang Camaro, in association with action sports production company Teton Gravity Research (TGR). The new label will debut at the local premier of TGR’s latest epic film, Lost and Found.” The screening will feature live music sets from Bang Camaro and the Marc Andre Belliveau Band
“We are thrilled to introduce a new label, and we applaud Bang Camaro and TGR for their enthusiastic participation in our mission,” explains LAFJ chairman Paul B. O’Brien. “Bang Camaro and TGR are on the cutting edge, not just of music and sports, but of helping to eliminate hunger in this country.”

Teton Gravity Research’s most recent cinematic thriller “Lost and Found,” tells the story of the extraordinary season of 2007 as seen through the eyes of world-class skiers and snowboarders. With global drought persisting and ski resorts closing around the world, athletes are forced to follow the snow, sending them deep into the uncharted north country of Alaska and Canada.

In April 2006, during his eighth year as a pro TGR film athlete, Marc Belliveau was injured in a skiing accident. This non-filming accident left him permanently paralyzed from the waist down. Marc took no time off and got right onto a sit ski. He traveled to remote locations as he did in years past with the TGR crew, hopping from his Jeep to sled and up the hill he went. His full story is available at http://www.tetongravity.com/profiles.

Boston's Bang Camaro is a gang metal choir that offers up a rifferiffic platter of Iron Maiden, Dio and Thin Lizzy. They don’t have one lead singer, they have twenty — and they all have a good, beer-swilling, fist-pumping time doing it. Their debut full-length album has been featured on MTV, RollingStone.com, and in the Boston Globe. Labels Are For Jars is the brainchild of a team that includes comedian Conan O’Brien, MLB-All-Star Sean Casey, brand imaging guru Mike Toth, and Father Paul B. O’Brien. The team markets shirts and John Varvatos-designed caps with negative labels, such as “addict”, “geek”, and “slacker”, which undermine societal labeling and raise money to fund the Cor Unum Meal Center in Lawrence. The shirts and caps are sold in plastic mason jars, in which buyers collect money to help feed the hungry. For more information, please visit: www.labelsareforjars.org or
