The Queers return to Boston... long live the Queers!

The Ramones are long gone, the New York Dolls are 2/5ths on the reunion road, and who knows what the Buzzcocks are doing these days (recording another one?), but the Queers are still going!  Like the Misfits you're not going to get the original group from the "Grow Up" days, but unlike the ghoulish ones you're gonna get a tight show from the original lead man.  Joe Queer is still chugging along with the punk rock that started in Portsmouth, NH and has gained the group a popular following due to their quick, banterless sets that resemble the style that the Ramones made famous.  With songs like "Ursula Finally Has Tits" and "This Place Sucks", along with a Ramones cover or two, the Queers make for a great show.

Go check 'em out when they swing by TT the Bear's in Cambridge this Friday, January 18th for $12!
